21 years - Reflections and Future
As we usher in our 21st anniversary, and look back at the timeline, a sense of satisfaction envelops us at Lords Hospital. Our commitment to excellence has taken us through some of the most historic events over the last two decades, from the day we commenced operations. From the various outbreaks that plagued societies; SARS-CoV, H1N1, Nipah and Covid-19, it has been challenging, yet fulfilling for the changes we made in the lives of patients. Our milestones are neither the thousands of successful surgical procedures, nor the state- of-the-art equipment, but the smiles of successful clinical outcomes.
As technology marches into the future, as outbreaks continuously evolve, as the unmistakable stamp of digitization is increasingly witnessed in every facet of healthcare, the term healthcare now encompasses multiple dimensions. At Lords Hospital, our reputation as pioneers, is not a ‘flash in the pan’, but a conscious approach to delivering healthcare at a level that goes beyond medical interventions. The visionary leadership of Padma Shri Prof. Dr.KP Haridas continues to be a beacon in our progress, as we add capacity, expand quality of infrastructure and introduce the latest techniques in surgical procedures.
Lords Hospital will continue to tread the path of excellence, with a commitment to maintaining ‘patient-centric’ processes, armed with the power of digitization. The pandemics of the present are neither the first, nor will they be the last, as the future unfolds. We will continue to improve and evolve, as we gear up for medical challenges and changes that are co-terminus with human existence.
On this auspicious day, it is our pleasure to extend warmest Vishu wishes to one and all, and to all our fellow citizens ushering in regional new year celebrations – Tamil New Year, Ugadi, Vaisakhi and Gudi Padwa. Here’s our wish for a healthy future to one and all.
